Barclays Banks pays about $130 millions for the naming rights of the Premier League. This a global sponsorship deal. The other day I was watching a special on former NFL quarterback Kurt Warner, and they mentioned that he played in Europe for the Amsterdam Admirals. That league was called NFL Europe and it led to the idea of MLS Europe. There would be no better way to expand the MLS brand than to make the BPL, MLS Europe. Is this a ridiculous idea? Yes. But it is soo ridiculous that it could work. Well, maybe not but it is still a cool idea to think about. I don't think there's any rule that would make it not possible. Anyways, the fee to join MLS is about $100 million. $30 million more and we have ourselves MLS Europe.
